Our adaptive monitoring systems self-calibrate to skin tone, physiology, and health conditions — ensuring fair, accurate health monitoring for all.
Finally Fair

Current devices often underperform for many patients. We design photoplethysmography (PPG) systems that adapt to each individual, so accuracy is no longer dependent on health status, skin tone, or body type.

Photoplethysmography (PPG) is a tecnique that uses light to obtain information from your body. PPG is behind pulse oximeters and smart wearables, mainly used to estimate oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate.

PPG is widely used to measure vital signs, but its accuracy is limited by many factors—such as skin tone, physiology, and environmental conditions. Conventional devices address only a few of these, often leading to biased or inaccurate results.

Our systems understand first which influencing factors are present, dynamically adapting to them to eliminate their impact on the PPG signal.

Our systems are tested in the real-world environment where they will be used. You can simply trust the numbers.

Equitably Oxi adapts to your skin tone for hospital-grade accuracy.
Finally, a pulse oximeter that sees you.
Our patented SPA (skin properties analysis) technology measures your skin tone to adapt the SpO2 to you.
Integrated and simple, no need for bulky additional colorimeters.

Traditional pulse oximeters rely on a single SpO2 calibration for everyone. But each skin tone affects the PPG signal differently. Equitably Oxi uses an adaptive SpO2 calculation for every skin type,
eliminating the racial bias.
Traditional pulse oximeters are only tested in ideal lab conditions with healthy participants. Equitably Oxi has been tested in real-world environments, where accuracy matters.
